The Best Furniture Showrooms

Showroom is very spacious, one of the best furniture showrooms, with various of collections of different kinds of furnitures. Compared to those pure by famous designer designed expensive furnitures, Roche Bobois is not as expensive as those places, but really has awesome designs with awesome quality that we can feel by both looking and feeling.

Love their couches! All different kinds of "movable" and "flexible" sofa that we can rarely find anywhere else. Mah Jong collection is crazy, I really wish I could find some house it can fit in perfectly!! :) Chairs are another category I like from this place, as well as many different styles of lights...

People working there are very friendly helping you introducing and finding the stuff to your needs. Always very warm and helpful.

Thos. Moser Cabinetmakers

Sublime, beautiful, perfect, poetic. I've matured from the ultra modern Bauhaus, LIMN, hard edged stuff to this. This is the real deal, exquisite,  put it in your will, your grandkids will get it and give it to their kids level of furniture.  I just saw the new line called Pasadena, I WANT THAT DINING TABLE AND CHAIRS!! It seems expensive but this is the kind of furniture that you buy once and keep it forever.

Thos. Moser furniture,  it's the anti IKEA, Brittany Spears, Walmart, fast food, Paris (the skank not the city) Hummer, VH1 reality shows, disposable made in China crap, culture that has become America in the last 8 years.

Furniture Innovation

Furniture Innovation is AMAZING.  My boyfriend and I just moved in together in October and we have been desperately searching for our "dream couch".  We decided, after going to a million boutique furniture salons where any couch costs $3,000+ and you have to add at least $1,000 to make it comfortable, that we would do the leg work to find the best deal out there. Furniture Innovation was the first place we went, recommended by a friend who had a really great experience  with a dining room table purchase.

We worked with Sammie, who was very nice and she walked us through custom ordering our favorite couch in the store.  After taking measurements and picking colors, we set out to compare against at least 16 other furniture factory warehouses.  From Fremont to Berkeley, we hit the road and probably saw over 500 couches.

Nomadic Arts

To date our Nomadic Arts collection consists of a bookcase, coffee table, desk, and 2 nightstands. And we hope to add more, much more. We've been so happy with all of the pieces we've bought-- the quality of the wood and the craftsmanship surpasses any of the other stores we've shopped at in the city. Their furniture is sturdy, without sacrificing style and artistry, and they can customize the pieces to fit your living space and style.

What's most impressive and commendable about these guys is their service. They will go above and BEYOND to make sure that you are 200% satisfied with their products. One such example is we had requested some holes drilled into our bookcase because we were going to use it as a media tower. It arrived at our place without the holes, so Guray made a personal visit to our place in Burlingame the next day to do this himself. While he was here, he also buffed out some scratches on our other wood furniture. It's so rare to come across this kind of dedication to customer happiness and Nomadic Arts has a client for life.

Artesanias Unique Home Furnishings

Anyone looking to buy nice furniture should call Craig at Artesanias before pulling the trigger at Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, Room and Board, or any of these places.  Better prices, better quality, more customization, and way better service.

I was ready to buy a Crate and Barrel Axis sectional and ended up getting it from Artesanias.  They can copy them for less, or you can take your savings and use them towards upgrades or customizations.  Craig is super-helpful and can guide you through the whole process and even suggest things you haven't thought of, while never seeming to be up-selling or pushy.  He even came to my place to do a consultation when I was too busy to go there.  When my sofa was ready (in 2 weeks!) Craig delivered it for free and helped me set it up.

Artesanias also has relationships with manufacturers and catalogs to look at in the store.  I was in love with a Corbusier pony lounge chair at Design Within Reach and was able to order a similar one from Alphaville through Artesanias for a fraction of the price and less than even copies on e-bay were going for.  Basically, if you want a nice piece of furniture it is worth stopping by at least to discuss.
